More than 30 Projects Worldwide

Each year, Radiohjälpen allocates funds to approximately thirty projects in as many countries. The projects under Världens Barn help ensure that children can attend school even while displaced, receive treatment for malnutrition, and access clean water to prevent diseases. They also provide opportunities for children to play and feel safe instead of having to work.

The Fundraising Supports the Global Goals

In 2024, Världens Barn contributed to strengthening 12 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to hunger, health, education, gender equality, equality, clean water, and sanitation.

A Unique Collaboration

Världens Barn is Radiohjälpen’s fundraising initiative and Sweden’s most extensive campaign for children’s rights worldwide. The 2025 campaign is conducted through a unique collaboration between Radiohjälpen and 13 Swedish aid organizations, along with tens of thousands of engaged individuals across the country. Världens Barn is broadcast on SVT and Sveriges Radio P4.

An Association That Coordinates

The National Fundraising Association for Världens Barn coordinates fundraising activities, disseminates knowledge, and develops tools to enable as many people as possible to participate in the campaign. The association’s members are the organizations involved in the fundraising efforts in Sweden, whose projects supporting children’s rights globally receive funding from the collected donations.
